• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to apply geomorphological understanding to complex investigations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage with clients and multidisciplinary teams
• The ability to manage your own workload and deliver high-quality outputs to tight deadlines
• A full UK driving licence

It’s a bonus if you have:

• Experience managing multidisciplinary projects and delivering work to time and budget
• Experience mentoring or managing junior colleagues
• Experience preparing sediment management plans
• Awareness of UK legislation associated with water management
• Experience with hydraulic modelling tools such as HEC-RAS or FloodModeller
• Experience with sediment transport modelling
• CDM experience
• Experience using AutoCAD

At APEM, we combine technical excellence with flexibility and wellbeing. Our Hydromorphology team works on some of the most interesting and challenging environmental projects in the UK, supporting clients to understand, manage and enhance river and freshwater environments.
