About The Role

Are you an experienced project or bid professional looking to take your next step in the marine or environmental sector? Do you enjoy managing complex, multi-stakeholder processes and producing high-quality, well-structured proposals? Would you like to join a business at the forefront of offshore renewables and play a key role in shaping the future of our bid delivery?

GoBe, part of the APEM Group, is looking for a Bid & Proposal Delivery Consultant to join our growing Marine Infrastructure Services team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role has been created to support an exciting period of growth as we transform our bid and proposal processes across the Group. You’ll play a key part in coordinating and managing high-value, multi-disciplinary tenders that support the offshore wind and wider marine infrastructure sectors.

You’ll act as the first point of contact for Major Projects and Marine Science tenders, coordinating and managing the full tender process from opportunity identification through to submission and post-award handover. Working closely with senior staff, the Project Support Office, technical specialists, finance, legal and the central APEM Bid Support Team, you’ll help deliver high-quality, compliant, and client-focused proposals that showcase the expertise of the APEM Group.

This is a hands-on, detail-focused role suited to someone who thrives on structure, enjoys collaboration, and takes pride in delivering work to the highest standard. You’ll gain exposure to large-scale, multi-disciplinary bids across the UK and internationally, and as your experience grows, you’ll have the opportunity to take on more technical and commercial responsibilities – from contributing to fee estimates to shaping proposal strategies. Looking ahead, this role offers scope to develop – whether that’s continuing as a dedicated bid specialist, progressing into project management, or helping drive process improvements across the Group’s tendering activities.

You’ll need to bring:

  • Experience coordinating or supporting projects, bids or documentation-heavy processes, ideally within environmental consultancy, marine infrastructure or renewables.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong written communication skills, producing clear and well-structured documents.
  • A collaborative mindset with confidence liaising across teams and functions.
  • A proactive approach and attention to detail, ensuring all outputs are accurate, compliant and client-ready.

It’s a bonus if you have:

  • Experience working with public sector procurement portals or framework tenders.
  • Familiarity with project budgeting or cost estimation.
  • Knowledge of the EIA process or marine consenting work.

At APEM Group, we pride ourselves on combining technical excellence with flexibility and development opportunities. Whether your passion lies in coordinating major tenders, improving processes or broadening your project management experience, this role offers genuine scope to grow.

If you’re looking for a fast-paced, supportive environment where your work directly contributes to delivering world-class marine and environmental projects, we’d love to hear from you.

You will be offered the chance to work on a variety of projects, many of our employees have worked on projects that have been of personal interest to them.
