About The Role

Are you looking to gain a solid grounding in a variety of skills on a pathway to becoming an Ecologist? Have you gained some experience, ideally practically in the field in a seasonal role with ecological surveying?

We are looking for a passionate Ecologist of the future to join our busy team here at Woodrow. You will assist with the preparation of different high-quality ecological reports and advice in accordance with conservation legislation and protected species licensing. Your role will include collation of field survey data and maps, carrying out ecological surveys, including habitat and plant surveys, and assisting with bat / bird surveys.
 
 To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
  • Experience in undertaking field surveys and data collection.
  • Familiarity with Irish habitats and vegetation communities and knowledge of plant communities / habitats.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good literacy and computer skills (use of Word, Excel, Microsoft Office etc).
  • Full clean driving licence.
