About The Role

Are you a commercially focused Director with a superb knowledge of terrestrial ecology and/or aquatic environments? Are you looking to work for a business with a superb reputation in the ecology market, backed by an ambitious Group? Have you got experience of building and maintaining a motivated and high performing team of ecologists?  

If so, we are looking to hire a Divisional Director to join a team of dedicated ecologists at Woodrow. You will help to maintain the highest technical and ethical standards which already exist, whilst looking to grow the business further. Primarily you will lead and nurture a team that is resilient, effectively resourced, and structured, to deliver technical and operational excellence for our clients and that deliver value to the Group and world around us.

To be considered for this excellent opportunity you must evidence:

  • How you have delivered operational excellence and growth
  • How you have instilled a high-performance culture, with strong governance
  • Degree qualified in ecology or environmental field with strong technical skills
  • Your knowledge of Irish and EU environmental legislation and experience of successful project delivery against multiple consenting regimes
  • How you have personally developed the performance and careers of team members
  • Your good business acumen, able to understand the commercial impact of operational decisions.

We are happy to receive applications from anyone living (or planning to live) across the whole of Ireland, however to ensure time with your team and the business there will be some regular travel to our office in Co. Sligo (a few times each month).
