As we grow, we’re looking for a number of Assistant Ecologists to join us on a permanent basis, to start in early 2026.
The role offers a strong mix of site-based ecology survey work alongside opportunities to develop your reporting and data analysis skills. While you’ll receive plenty of support, this role is ideal for someone confident working outdoors and keen to build on recent fieldwork experience. Based in Banbury you’ll be joining a highly experienced team delivering projects across sectors including housing, retail, employment and renewables—with a strong emphasis on integrating ecological value into development.
This opportunity is particularly suited to candidates who:
- Have recently completed a season of field experience (from current roles or the last season)
- Enjoy hands-on ecological survey work and are happy to travel across the UK
- Want to develop well-rounded consultancy skills from techncial report writing, project management to client development
- Are enthusiastic about UK wildlife and ecology with a keen attention to detail
