About The Role

Are you looking to start or grow your career in environmental planning? Do you want to be part of projects that shape renewable energy, coastal, and transmission infrastructure across the UK?

We’re looking for an EIA Consultant to join our Environmental Planning Division. This is a new role created to support continued growth and it offers a fantastic opportunity to build your expertise in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) while contributing to nationally significant projects.

You’ll support the preparation of EIA reports, coordinate onshore survey programmes, and work closely with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders to keep projects on track. Whether you’re stepping into consultancy for the first time or already have experience in environmental planning, this is a role where you’ll be supported with mentorship, training, and the chance to make a tangible impact on projects that matter.

What we’re looking for

You’ll need to bring:

- Dedication to personal development and continuous learning
- A strong interest in environmental assessment and project management
- Experience managing logistics, coordinating projects, or working to deadlines (e.g. consultancy, fieldwork, events or operations)
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear reports
- Personal resilience and adaptability
- A collaborative mindset, aligned with our values of integrity, curiosity, and care

It’s a bonus if you have:

- A degree in an environmental-related field
Familiarity with the EIA process or UK planning frameworks (training provided)
- Willingness to travel to project sites or meetings across the UK
- Experience with project management tools or budget tracking systems
