About The Role

Are you an experienced SharePoint professional with a strong understanding of Microsoft 365 governance and information management? APEM Group are looking for a SharePoint Administrator to join our Technology, Innovation and Data team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role as part of a growing international business following our partnership with Applus+.

In this role, you’ll support the ongoing development, optimisation and governance of our SharePoint and Microsoft 365 environment across the Group. You’ll manage and maintain SharePoint Online environments, implementing governance and compliance controls, and championing robust document and records management processes. You'll work closely with colleagues across Technology, Legal and operational teams to deliver practical, user-focused collaboration solutions. Alongside day-to-day administration, you’ll contribute to wider digital transformation initiatives, helping implement governance standards, retention policies and automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools.

You’ll help embed robust information governance and document management practices while ensuring governance remains practical and user-friendly, enabling teams to work efficiently and collaboratively. Over time, you’ll become an advisor across the business, contributing to wider platform strategy, governance frameworks and digital transformation initiatives as APEM continues to grow internationally.

You'll have:

  • Proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, site collections, and permissions.
  • Experience using Microsoft Power Platform tools (including Power Automate and Power Apps) and Microsoft Forms to support SharePoint-based document management, workflow automation and information governance.
  • Working knowledge of document and records management principles (ISO standards)
  • Experience of configuring retention policies, labels and compliance features in MS365
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration.
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem and integrations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Experience with SharePoint migrations and upgrades.

Experience of global information and data regulations (ie GDPR, FTC, Aus Privacy Act, etc), with eDiscovery, compliance centre and information governance tools in MS365, and/or experience with Azure Virtual Desktop would also be beneficial.
