APEM Group is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our HSEQS team. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role, working for 15 hours per week.
In this role, you’ll support the ongoing management of supplier and subcontractor processes across the business, helping ensure our supply chain procedures and Integrated Management System (IMS) remain robust, compliant and effective. You’ll work closely with the Quality and Environment Systems Manager and wider HSEQS team to coordinate supplier approvals and reviews, maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement across quality, environmental and health & safety systems aligned to recognised ISO standards. You’ll also assist with audits, documentation updates and supplier questionnaires, working closely with appropriate leads and champions across APEM as an advocate for continuous improvement of company management systems, policies and procedures.
Through your time in this role, you’ll develop a strong understanding of APEM’s supplier management strategy and Integrated Management System, becoming a trusted point of support for supply chain coordination and HSEQS processes as the business continues to grow.
You will have:
- IT literacy and experience in MS Office.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills, including the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
- Ability to engage effectively with external contacts and collaborate with colleagues.
- Ability to work within an ever-changing environment.
Beneficial to have:
- An
understanding of supplier management procedures and processes.
- An
understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Ability
to write procedures and guidance documents.
- Experience
of internal and external audits.
